... in three easy steps ...
You blog, right? ... here or using a blogging tool - wordpress, blogger, wherever .... Well, if you don't, you ought to seriously consider it to promote your products and services or to build your personal brand ...
Having just given this to a Blackstar, I realised I ought to be sharing this ....
... [start of lesson]
Ok, here are three, I think, brilliant ways to automatically feed your eCademy Blog and Marketplace listings - and your personal blog - into your fb profile.
1. Open your webpages 'fb Notes' and 'eC blogs' ... click on 'Notes Settings' and 'Edit import settings' ... now you have to paste the RSS feed address from the eC blog into there ... and you get that by going to the bottom of your eC blog page ... see the RSS 2.0 symbol? ... well click it and copy that url ... et voila ...
2. Add the application 'Flog Blog' ... and simply add your personal blog url ... and to make sure its visible, open up Flog Blog and click on 'Settings' on the RHS and make sure you have 'Maximum posts to show' set to a number ... I have '5' ... and the only other thing is to go to your Profile page ... on the LHS click 'edit' Applications ... you get a list of all your apps ... find 'Flog Blog' and click 'Edit Settings' ... now I have:
Profile: All my networks and all my friends
Left menu: tick
News Feed: tick
Mini-Feed": no tick
Profile Links: tick
3. Add the application 'SuperRSS' ... I use this to import my Marketplace Listings ... alternatively you could import eC Marketplace to fb Notes ... anyway, so find your Marketplace RSS feed by clicking on the RSS 2.0 symbol in 'My (Marketplace) Listings' and add that into SuperRSS.
...[end of lesson]
Making the most of facebook means importing your existing blog feeds and there you go.
Have fun ... this will definitely increase your fb presence ...
